PersADE is a newly developed, comprehensive online database platform specifically designed to integrate multidimensional information on adverse drug events (ADEs). Leveraging advanced data mining techniques, the database systematically collects, processes, and analyzes drug safety data from authoritative global sources, aiming to provide a robust and reliable foundation for pharmacovigilance and safety assessment.
The platform consolidates a vast array of drug safety data, including 4,061,772 personalized and 2,201,568 general drug–ADE associations, covering 10,235 compounds, 19,991 ADEs, and clinical data from 11,500,749 patients. A distinctive feature of PersADE lies in its integration of 200,457 drug–ADE–target associations, along with 31,756 ADE–protein associations and 6,980 human proteins, offering mechanistic insights into the molecular basis of ADEs. Moreover, the database includes detailed patient-specific medication data, covering 1,649,311 drug–ADE–route associations, 1,135,452 drug–ADE–formulation records, and key clinical parameters including dosage, age, sex, and body weight—enabling full-spectrum data integration from molecular mechanisms to clinical manifestations.
This innovative platform equips researchers, clinicians, and regulatory professionals with powerful tools for data retrieval, statistical analysis, and visualization. Users can not only explore drug–ADE relationships but also investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying adverse effects and perform individualized risk assessments based on patient-specific characteristics such as age, sex, dosage, formulation, and route of administration.
